Retailers call it ‘maximising your share of your customers wallet’ and the supermarkets are masters, with some great tactics, of getting you to spend more each time you visit. You should be focussing on doing the same and so it makes sense for you to adopt some of their tactics.
I’ve recently posted some great tactics, click here to read more, to keep people in your Pub longer as it stands to reason that if your customers are in your venue longer they are likely to spend more.
When you’ve provided the right atmosphere, environment and entertainment for your customers you need to look at the next best tool to help maximise your customers spend. It is vital that you communicate with your customers. Letting them know about all your events and offers is an essential tactic if you want to maximise your customers spend each time they visit.
We always ask our clients the following:
“If you could tell each of your customers about every event you hosted and every offer you have do you think that you have more customers visits and would you sell more?”
The answer is nearly always “Yes!”
We then ask “if that’s the case do you do it?”
The answer to this is nearly always “No” – It’s just not practical… So you need another way to achieve the same result.
Using Vidimixers on-screen advertising is the best alternative to being able to tell every customer personally what your offer includes. We still think you should speak to all you customers to engage with them personally but we just know that Vidimixer fills in all the gaps and missed opportunites. Giving you the best chance to maximise your share of your customers wallet.
Making the most of your on-screen adverts can be a science in itself and sometimes it can be difficult to know where to start, so with that in mind I’ve added a link to some great tips and rules to follow when creating an advert, click here for the tips, and don’t forget you can always call us on 0845 203 2727 for some advice.
Don’t forget you can use your Vidimeter to access your Vidimixer management information. It’s all you need to create a really effective marketing and entertainment strategy for your pub.
